11th Istanbul Fashion Fair February 6, 2008

The 11th edition will be held on the dates
7 – 9 February 2008

This Unique Fashion Trade Event of Turkey is supported by 16 Textile Associations known as IF Council, ITKIB and CNR Ekspo Trade Fairs Inc.

The common mission and collobration between CNR EXPO Fairs, IF COUNCIL and ITKIB (Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations) to turn the city into a international fashion center has culminated in the 10th International Istanbul Fashion Fair.

• Turkish Ready-to-wear market is the world’s 4th largest ready-to-wear clothing exporter.

• Almost 65% of the total output of the ready-to-wear market industry is exported.

• Turkish textile and clothing industry has been growing rapidly not only in terms of production but also in terms of exports. The market growth is 17% for the first half of 2007.

• Turkey has “free-trade agreements” with the countries below whom EU is in preferential trade agreement with. These countries are; Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and EFTA (European Free Trade Association).
