This is a great family event! The lighting of the giant Christmas Tree takes place at 6:15 p.m. followed by a Santa Claus parade. Free entertainment starting at noon. Purchase a Holiday Stroll Discount Button for $5 to benefit the Barrett Foundation. The Barrett Foundation provides services to Albuquerque's homeless women and their children. Present your button for valuable discounts throughout Old Town.

I will definitly not buy a button for this event for the barrett house foundation, the place is a lie, they do not help the women, the employees are terrible to the women and steal all the donations, I hope people will realize their donation do not get to these poor women if they want to make a donation they should make it to the joy junction or another shelter like the domestic violence shelter. All the donation money I gave to the barrett house I never received a receipt and when I tryed to get one, they did not remember me.
