11th Annual Gamble Rogers Folk Festival May 4, 2006

The Gamble Rogers Folk Festival celebrates American folk music while paying tribute to a local hero known for his music and storytelling. Gamble died in 1991 trying to save a drowning man, but he lives on in the heart of this community. The festival, which began as a way friends and locals could celebrate Gamble's life and music, has grown into an event receiving national attention. The festival is held at the St. Augustine Ampitheater and provides a natural setting for all to enjoy.
