10th Annual KidShow March 15, 2008

For two straight days Great Lakes Mall will be transformed into a huge marketplace of children’s products and services intertwined with free activities and fun. Known as the annual KidShow, this event features exhibitors, entertainment, craft centers, face painting, inflatables, roaming costume characters, a Step2 Backyard Play Area, finger printing with MetLife (12-4pm), racing remote control race cars and running trains and even its own Scholastic Book Fair to benefit a local youth charity.

Entertainment is high on the list of activities for the weekend. Every half hour the entertainment changes providing something for everyone. Back by popular demand is the kids fashion show which will be at 4:30pm on Saturday. The stage also serves as the home of the KidShow trivia contest. Trivia questions geared towards kids are randomly asked from the stage throughout the show with unbelievable prizes and tickets given away. Impromptu daily Snack Attacks from the stage provide snacks for 100 people.

Come early and be one of the first 500 lucky families to register at the Registration Center by the stage in front of Macy’s on Saturday and receive a free goody bag! Find a red envelope in your bag & you will win a Family Racing Party at American Hot Rod Racer where everyone builds & races remote control cars!

Held Saturday, March 15 from 10am to 9pm and Sunday, March 16 from 11am to 6pm, this two-day event is FREE.
