Darold Treffert, MD, (via Skype) presents Extraordinary Savant Syndrome, discussing recent research developments in this remarkable condition. He was a consultant to the Oscar-winning film, "Rain Man." Dr. Treffert wrote the Foreword to the UK version of Daniel Tammet's, "Born on a Blue Day," the book chosen as the focus of the 2012 Read.

Julie A. Donnelly, PhD, Assoc. Director of the Missouri state autism agency for the Dept. of Education, presents A Mother's Story: The Account of Jean-Paul Bovee, her son who experiences autism. Jean-Paul was diagnosed as autistic at the age of three. Despite difficult school years, he graduated from high school, finished college and earned two master's degrees. **Doors will open at 6PM** Community organizations will be available with resources/info on Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Books will be for sale.
