10th Anniversary: Brower Youth Awards October 20, 2009

Come to the Bay Area's most inspirational night of the year featuring environmental heroes!

The Brower Youth Awards ceremony recognizes the innovative leadership of young people ages 13-22 for the planet.

On this night, our 2009 honorees will be introduced to the public. Short powerful videos about their work will be shown, and youth performers will launch the night’s festivities. We will complete the night with a dessert reception where you can meet the 2009 award recipients and others from the Bay Area eco-community.

Past winners include folks like Billy Parish, who galvanized thousands of students into action by founding the Energy Action Coalition, and Erica Fernandez, who raised the voices of her community against a Liquefied Natural Gas plant.
