Hollywood has its share of multi-dimensional talents—people who write, direct, produce and act. But no one matches the range of writer/actor/comedian/producer/ teacher/lecturer/visual artist/author/yoga practitioner/TV and radio personality Beth Lapides.
Her latest solo show, "100% Happy 88% of the Time," will have a special, one-night-only performance at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center’s Renberg Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 9, at 8 p.m. Tickets are only $20, and net proceeds will benefit the Center’s crystal meth addiction counseling programs. Our motto for the night: “BETH NOT METH!”
Lapides is a 21st century artist with an eye toward higher consciousness. In her new show, she connects the spiritual frontier with edge science and a dose of “woo-woo” to interpret, deconstruct and slide around on the slippery slope of our rapidly changing times. Her stories and original ideas uplift audiences and really do give them the tools to be 100% Happy 88% of the Time.
