Windermere Real Estate and Cobalt Mortgage, along with local businesses team up to put one million dollars back into the hands of Washington residents. The group is committed to help more than 125 families take advantage of the $8000 home-buyer's tax credit.
Jim Hebert of Hebert Research headlines an action-packed seminar of industry leaders covering why research shows that now is a good time to buy, understanding the tax credit and the nuts and bolts of buying your first home. This event is quick-paced with more than six presenters. All attendees will come away with a strong understanding of the buying process and how to make their first home purchase successful.
Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland is hosting the 1-Million Dollar Challenge event in their auditorium on Sept 26th. Registration starts at 10:00 a.m. and attendance is free. Local business sponsors are showcasing products and information at tables where attendees can visit and learn about all aspects of owning a home. Sponsors include insurance, title, escrow, home inspectors, repair contractors, new construction and local businesses that are interested in helping families successfully purchase and maintain their homes.
