City Salsa Vibe in association with Electropical and Electro Swing Club Vancouver welcome you to 007 Empire Affair New Years Eve 2012 at the Elegant Empire Landmark Hotel. This amazing venue is right on Robson Street in the heart of downtown (at street level below the revolving restaurant). Come explore each themed party room throughout the night.

Dance Lessons:

There will be dance lessons to start the night. Join a fun and memorable experience with one of Vancouver’s best instructors. This is a great way to meet new people. No dance experience or partner required! The dance lessons will be from 9pm to 10pm.

This year we offer Swing & Salsa dance lessons.

The Latin Gala Room – LIVE 8-Piece Ensemble “Mazacote”
Party to the LIVE sounds of Salsa, Cumbia, Cha cha, Reggaeton and for the first time “BACHATA” with Mazacote. This group of young ‘lions’ is bringing back the sizzle of the latin sound to the westcoast.

Intermissions Music – DJ Azhvan, and Guests spinning all your favourites of Latin Music Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton Cha-Cha-Cha.

Vancouver’s Hot Foot Five featuring Arnt Arntzen on Voice, guitar, banjo; Bonnie Northgraves on trumpet; Mike Wagler on Bass; Simon Addington on drums and Evan Arntzen guesting on clarinet. This swing and Jazz group from the Vancouver area play any style of Jazz, including, American Popular Song, Swing & Big Band Classics, Bossa Nova & Latin. Their talent, professionalism and ability will amaze you.
Intermissions Music – Electroswing DJ Rudy and DJ Spry bring you a fresh live mix of sultry vintage sounds and a good dose of downright dirty dance-floor beats.
Electropical DJ Michael Laycock and Guests takes you on a tour of Brazilian beats, Caribbean grooves, African rhythms, Arabian waves, and Balkan bangers.The Funky Club Room
